Archilestes Damselfly - Archilestes californica

Archilestes Damselfly - Archilestes californica
Sunol Regional Park, California, USA
November 16, 2005
I believe this is a Archilestes genus Damselfly. Could anyone tell me what species it is, or if its in the Lestes genus instead? Thanks a lot!

Size counts...
This looks to me like the Great Spreadwing, but size and color count here...if it was about 2.2 to 2.4 inches long, and the stripes on the side were bright yellow on a green background, then _it's Archilestes grandis_.

looks more like paired white stripes
so we're more tempted by California Great Spreadwing, Archilestes californica CA Dragons&Damsels. See what you think.

Definitely!!
