Pruinose May Beetle - Phyllophaga
Hwy 55 and Sedwick, Durham County, North Carolina, USA

Size: 12 mm
Found at light, rather stunned. This species has a distinctive pruinosity on its elytra. It is possibly Phyllophaga micans, which is described as having a pruinose elytra by Dillon, plate LII #2, p. 532. (1)
