Probably the same individual as:

I finally got a picture showing the scutellum. As expected, the black-band-on-yellow pattern confirms this is Pseudodoros clavatus (see Gerard Pennards' comments on ). The eyes that meet along the middle of the head show it's a male


Nectaring on Lemon Verbena (Aloysia citrodora).
