Harmonia axyridis with fungus in VA - Harmonia axyridis
Chester, Chesterfield County, Virginia, USA August 8, 2009 Size: ~6mm long
Posted as a data point for the Laboulbeniales fungus, mostly. This beetle had misshapen elytra with numerous "extra" dark spots that probably represent damage to the pupa. None of this impeded its flight, however.
