Yes. Thaumatomyia bistriata (Walker, 1849) it is. Recorded from Montana, Ontario and Maine all the way south to New Mexico and Florida (range source: http://www.catalogueoflife.org/details/species/id/8722227). Formerly treated as a subspecies of the cosmopolitan T. glabra.
