Libytheana carinenta-American Snout - Libytheana carinenta

Libytheana carinenta-American Snout - Libytheana carinenta
Montrose, Laurens County, Georgia, USA
March 19, 2010
Size: Unrecorded
Found on prunus blooms. Very flighty. After reading that the population of these 'flies is affected by drought-ending rains, let me state that the "official" drought in this area was finally wiped out by the massive rains of the past 9 months or so. Atlanta should be so lucky.
