A Lady Beetle larva, Family Coccinellidae

 
looks like
it's curling up, for lack of a better term, and getting ready to pupate.

 
7-spotted lady beetle, "prepupa"
Coccinella septempunctata. I don't know if there's a verb for what it's doing - pre-pupating? It'll do this stiff, curved, looking-like-it's-dead thing for up to 24 hours before it actually pupates.
