There are 4 species in the genus, all of which occur in our area.(1)

body length 5mm or less
Range
North America (Canada to Mexico)(1)

Naphrys pulex: eastern United States(2) & southeastern Canada

Naphrys acerba: currently known only from Texas (and south into Mexico)(2)

Naphrys bufoides: currently known only from Georgia and Florida(2)

Naphrys xerophila: currently known only from Florida(2)
