Some of them never seem to land
At what speed did you shoot here? Wings are almost frozen. (With bumble bees, I've gone to 1/500 with flash and never been able to stop the action.)

Hi Ron, this was taken with a Nikon D40, ISO-320, f/5.6, 1/2000 sec, 185mm focal length, full sun, no flash. Hope this helps.
