White moth with black circles and other black markings - Hypercompe scribonia
Statesboro, Georgia, USA
May 15, 2004
This moth was on the wall of my house late at night. I have seen this moth several times over the past two years. Same coloring as
the Black and White Moth-Polygrammate hebraeicum shown on a previous ID request, but this one has different markings.

Giant Leopord Moth....
I live in Mason, Michigan and I found a Giant Leopord Moth in the caterpillar stage in my yard.... I would have assumed it was way too cold in Michigan for it to survive! Any ideas on how to keep it alive?

Giant Leopard Moth
Very nice, Giant Leopard Moth, Ecpantheria scribonia.
