collected on a coastal dune. I found very few of them. The shape of the body made me think this is a highly specialized species for the environment, and worth knowing more about.

This image is sufficient for Sepedophilus sp., this genus is mostly found in decaying vegetation or fungi. I'd guess seaweed on the beach for this area.
