small moth in old field - Epiblema iowana

Size: ~7 mm long
Flitting through vegetation in grassy old field in late afternoon. It was skittish of my approach, but I eventually caught up to it for these photos.

Moved, Epiblema iowana
Moved from Eucosmini.

Moved
Moved from Apotomis infida.

Moved
Moved from Olethreutinae. Iowa lepidopterist James Durbin identified this based on pictures on Moth Photographers Group of live specimens, noting that it becomes a new species for Iowa.

Hmmm ...
Doesn't look to me like the other Apotomis infida photos. I've had a professional lepidopterists confidently misidentify a photo of mine (later IDed by a specialist), so I wouldn't take that as gospel truth. Looks to me more like something in the Eucosmini (though I'm sure there are other things it could be). Probably safest to move it to Olethreutinae.

Moved
Moved from Moths. Based on "probable" subfamily ID by Bob Patterson on second image.
