Coffee-and-white dermestid - Anthrenus coloratus

Coffee-and-white dermestid - Anthrenus coloratus
Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA
April 24, 2010
Size: ~2 mm
Came to UV light. Shape and pattern don't seem to fit with the ones I usually see or have found in Bugguide.

Moved
Moved from Carpet Beetles, based on the shape/pattern/color being a such a good match for coloratus. That may or may not be enough to go on, I don't know.

Moved
Moved from Beetles.

may be something nice [like coloratus]

Thanks
That looks like a good match to me.

Anthrenus sp.
But does not look like A. verbasci. THere are good images here.

Thanks
That's a pretty cool site. I went through all the Anthrenus and couldn't find a match, so maybe I'll just move it to genus level.
