What type of ladybug is this? - Harmonia axyridis

I found this adorable ladybug today. Does anyone know what kind it is?

Invasive
It is not so adorable when you consider that it has become an invasive species that has been devouring some of the native ladybugs. In Europe it is considered a pest and they are trying to prevent it from spreading farther.

Very invasive and very adorab

I'm going to guess
Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle - Harmonia axyridis.

This is a most variable species. You can see more color patterns on this page (scroll down).

That said, Lady Beetles can be very tricky, and I could be way off. Be sure to wait for other, more informed, opinions.

You got it right, Ken...
the pronotum can be more reliable when the spots are variable, at times.
