Picture of habitats

I was thinking of posting some photos of places were I found some tiger beetles (just sand, grass, and such no people or buildings). Many tiger beetles are found in specific habitats so I think that some photos of the habitat would be a good addition to the guide page for each species. Does anyone think that this would a problem?

Chris,
I took a photo of the habitat where I find cicindela scutellaris unicolor, oak scrub, nutrient poor soil. Let me know if you want me to post a couple, and you can see what you think.

OK
Sure, go ahead and post a shot.

Patrick suggested
that we click off the representative box when we submit images that probably shouldn't show up under Browse. That way they can be stored under the species and used for the info pages, but won't be among the selected images when someone is browsing for identification purposes. Sounds great. That might be a good thing to do with Jim McClarin's mushroom image that has been sitting at the end of ID Request too.

Yes
Great idea! I deselected the representative box when I posted something like an anatomical illustration, so I will do the same for these. Thanks for your help!

I
think that idea would be great for the info pages.

OK
I will probably post a few of those images soon. Thanks for your help!

Here, here!
One of the things I would like to do is illustrations of insects in their natural habitats, so habitat shots for ANYTHING sounds great to me. Same goes for a detailed shot of a food plant, or flower the insect was on. Such images also paint a graphic portrait of ecological relationships between organisms. Gold star for Chris:-)
