Naphrys pulex - male

Naphrys pulex - Male
Marlton, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
May 3, 2010
Size: Maybe around 3.5 - 4 mm?
Not really sure of the species, but it looks like a subadult male. Might raise it and find out what is is.

Hi Max,

Sure looks like Naphrys pulex (aka Habrocestrum pulex) to me. Paquin & Dupérré, 2003, also include H. parvulum (aka Chinattus parvulus), but it looks nothing like pulex.

You can raise your subadult if you like (jumping spiders make nice pets, IMO), but I think you've already got the species down.
