3.2mm histerid - Platysoma leconti
New Hampshire, USA
Size: 3.2 mm
Collected in south-central New Hampshire, probably in 2004, died before I found time to photograph it, was pickled in alcohol and finally photographed 12/11/05.

The head was so far retracted on this one that I almost discarded it as another headless beetle dredged out of the alcohol vat.
