A Dance Fly (family Empididae?) on Red Brome, Bromus madritensis ssp. rubens in the 'East Field' of the Claremont Colleges' Robert J. Bernard Biological Field Station. Photographed about 9:00 a.m.

These two flies were photographed on an Amsinckia plant nearby:
