Really Cool Tiny Red Bug - Tropidosteptes cardinalis

Really Cool Tiny Red Bug - Tropidosteptes cardinalis
Quartz Mountains State Park, Greer County, Oklahoma, USA
April 22, 2010
Seen in the middle of the day.

Tropidosteptes cardinalis Uhler 1878? -- det. M.D. Schwartz
Moved tentatively from Plant Bugs.

It seems somewhat different from Oncerometopus
Moved from ID Request.

I'm sure you're right...
I'm happy just to have hit on the correct family. :)

Miridae, I presume
Looks a bit like Oncerometopus

[

However, I'm not an expert--and looks can be deceiving--so please wait for expert confirmation/correction.
