From this page on endangered insects of California, it appears that both species of Ammopelmatus are rare and local:
Kelso Jerusalem Cricket--Ammopelmatus kelsoensis
Point Conception Jerusalem Cricket--Ammopelmatus muwu

Those species names both refer to isolated areas in California--Kelso Dunes in the Mojave desert and Point Conception, along the coast.
