Unicorn Caterpillar Moth - Schizura unicornis - Female
Town of Greenbush, Hilltop Road, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, USA

Larva was found August 25, 1999 by my friend, Therese Randall, on Wild Apple (Malus spp.). It formed a pupa on August 27, 1999 which overwintered in refrigerator. Removed pupa from refrigerator on April 15, 2000. This female eclosed on June 2, 2000, it laid eggs and was released.
