Lebia sp. - Lebia ornata

Lebia sp. - Lebia ornata
Powhatan County, Virginia, USA
This looks like Lebia lobulata - can anyone confirm or deny?

Carabid
Looks very close to this image of Lebia lobulata on CBIF. See here.

Looks like
It does look a LOT like Lebia lobulata - Thanks for your help!

L. lobulata or L. ornata
L. ornata coloration can vary a little, but Downie and Arnett separate L. ornata from L. lobulata by:
L. ornata - head smooth or slightly punctate
L. lobulata - head coarsely punctured between eyes

looks like you might still have the specimen, so you might be able to look for heavy punctures. If there, L. lobulata would be a first for BugGuide :)

I would give my vote for Lebi
I would give my vote for Lebia ornata, due to the overall polished appearance of the specimen.
