Pretty sure this is a milkweed assasin nymph.... but didn't want to put it there without being positive.

Hmm... don't think so.
None of the Milkweed Assassin Bug nymphs in the guide display the abdominal spines of your specimen. I'm thinking it might be a Coreid--maybe something like this:
