Musca domestica - female

Musca domestica - Female
Virginia, USA
October 1, 2005

I doubt...
Anyone can deny Musca domestica, because all criteria (wing venation, compound eyes color, body proportions and so on) are perfectly matching.
Nice shot of an all too common species.
But some of them are needed in a Guide whose ambition is to encompass the whole North American fauna. If nothing else, such a picture is very useful for a comparison wihh related genera and species.

Thanks
for your help!
