Keyed from similar G. janus and G. lecontei based on shape of head and/or pronotum (1) (2). Compare head shapes of Galerita bicolor | Galerita janus :
Range
Includes eastern United States. Noted from Minnesota, Carolinas, Florida.
Season
February-December (South Carolina).
