Tetraopes texanus --det. D. Heffern
his comment: "the apical antennal segment is distinctly pointed; no other Tetraopes has the same feature. the maculations on the elytra have some variabilty among this species. elytral pubescence is fairly constant, but the angle of the photgraph makes it appear like one is more pubescent than the other."
