Russet-tipped Clubtail - Palmyra Cove, NJ - Stylurus plagiatus
Palmyra, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
October 1, 2005
I saw a pair of these clubtails in the marshes of Palmyra Cove Nature Center on Oct. 2. This is one of the latest sightings for this species in this area, and one of the few sightings in the Burlington/Camden county area for this rare species (well, rare for southern NJ).

Good
dorso-lateral view of this male's terminalia. Nice addition to species page.
