A seven-long-horn hike - Trigonarthris subpubescens

A seven-long-horn hike - Trigonarthris subpubescens
Harms Woods Forest Preserve, Glenview, Cook County, Illinois, USA
May 30, 2010
Size: ~15mm
Number seven, once again on Heracleum maximum, we thought would be Trigonarthris proxima but we noticed Tom Bentley's image from Harms Woods was ID'd as T.minnesotana. We saw the golden pubescence but wasn't sure there was enough for minnesotana.
