Where is the other half ?
Just curious ...

Reminds Me
Reminds me of the old AMC Gremlin commercial, "Where's the rest of your car, Toots?"

I love it !
But seriously, is this the complete animal ?

You're Serious
There is nothing missing. The wings of some bugs in Phylini tribe, fold down like this one.

Thanks for your reply, Robert.
Yes, I've seen bugs in this tribe where the lateral part of the wings is slanted downward, perhaps as much as about 45 degrees.
Your photo above appears to been taken from near-straight above, (albeit it bit slanted to the side).
When looking carefully, I can imagine the outline of the wing endings coinciding with their shadow.
If that's the case, it looks like they are pointed almost straight down; i.e. near 90 degrees bend.
This means that the end of its abdomen must be tucked away in some way, or ... (chopped off, as its illuminated posterior edge appears to indicate.)
Sorry, it still looks funny ...

But yes, the bug looks alive and (all's) well.

Thank you both!
^^
