Rhagio Sp614 - Rhagio - male - female

Rhagio Sp614 - Rhagio - Male Female
Promised Land State Park, Pike County, Pennsylvania, USA
May 29, 2004
Rhagio Sp (Snipe Fly) perhaps?

Rhagionidae: Rhagio sp.
Rhagionidae: Rhagio sp.

Nice shot
Promised Land is in the Mountains of the Poconos, but the county's name is Pike, please, fix it.
I think that the male is on the right because it has big eyes that meet along the midline. This is a very common sex difference among flies.

Thanks for correcting that
I saw the abdomen size and I was using that to determine the sex of the fly. I will edit the county.

I would confirm.
Looks very close to this photo in the genus Rhagio:

I believe the male is on the left.
