Grape Leaffolder - Desmia

Grape Leaffolder - Desmia
Mountville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA
August 15, 2005
Size: 25mm wingspan
A specimen from my collection.

Frass
Frassing due to image and specimen quality.

I gotta disagree
Specimen is worn but all essential characters are clearly visible--not like the scales have been worn off--and the photo is sharp and clear. why frass this?

Okay
I'll move it back. I may replace this if a get a better specimen this year, though. Thank you!

remember
that in addition to the photos providing a visual record, each photo also creates a state and monthly record for that species--information that's lost when it's frassed. If you caught this particular specimen especially early or late in the year for this species, that's interesting info!
