fantastic...
this thing does work, after all -- i mean, BG? eh?

Like a charm -
one big reason is that someone named v has connected our vast numbers of contributors with a network of experts generously willing to donate some time to the site. :)

the only reason they are is because the project obviously has an enormous potential. i can think of many ways the academic taxonomy can benefit from it, as the experts [a] get relived of tedious routine IDing common, trivial bugs -- now that BG handles a large chunk of this flow; [b] see interesting things pop up and get material for study from unexpected sources; [c] have unprecedented outreach that allows to educate the enthusiasts and direct their effort towards un[der]explored areas/habitats/taxa; &c....

yaaay man! new tribe for the guide -- xoxoxo! this is an adult
get out and fetch me more quality pix! you're my hero, Ken.

Moved from True Bugs, Cicadas, Hoppers, Aphids and Allies.

Plinthisus -- ID confirmed by M.H. Sweet, which is sweet
Ken--
i bounced to you the notes we exchanged with Dr. Sweet re: your fine bugs; pls get in touch w/him: he sounds more than eager to study the specimens

Cool -
I was hoping this might be something interesting! :) Seriously - you are the real BG hero, v - the curator par excellence of our virtual collection!
