Moved
Moved from Beetles.

Some are Trixagidae
e.g. the uppermost one, and the one with belly-up in the center belongs somewhere else . . .

cheers, Boris

Good eye
I agree on both counts although we use Throscidae instead of Trixagidae. With one exception I have yet to photograph these beetles individually. I might have new families here -- new for me, that is. So many beetles, so little time :-(

Conoderus bellus
The only specimens I can get a clear view of the dorsal surface are Conoderus bellus. They are the two to the right-hand side of the picture with the broken pattern.

Thank you, Dennis.
I agree. These lighbulb collections, because they tend to be multiple species, will remain at their present locations, serving as a demonstration of a novel collection technique.
