Scaphoideus titanus
I found a photo of this grape-feeding leafhopper in an Italian publication on pests of grape. This color form seems to be the most common color pattern for the nymphs.

This is the same color form as http://bugguide.net/node/view/16108/bgimage which was photographed on an unknown host. It is not the same species as a quite differently colored Scaphoideus nymph (photos # 125276 and 285313) which were also seen on butterfly weed; however, that species was seen in numbers on milkvine (see # 12086).

Apparently these nymphs move around quite a bit, so finding just one on a particular plant is not as significant as finding a whole bunch together. So please keep your eyes peeled for nymphal aggregates, where there is a hope of finding adults later in the season.
