Orangewinged Grasshopper - Pardalophora phoenicoptera - Female

Showing bright orange/red marking on wing. This coloration is very prominent in flight, but difficult to photograph. The stain on the photographer's fingers is a foul-smelling fluid released from the grasshopper's mouth when captured. (The grasshopper was released unharmed after the photo session.)
