How to remove tiny wasps from home?
Hi! I have the same problem. These tiny wasps only sting me in my family but boy does it hurt (especially after a day or so!). And the sting lasts at least a few days. Does anyone have any tips to remove tiny wasps from the home? They are super hard for me to find, but I have found them on occasion walking along my bedroom mattress and in window next to my bed. We've started to keep windows closed upstairs in our bedroom in case they are entering that way. We also have some carpet beetles, is this what they are after? How long can tiny wasps live indoors?
I would greatly appreciate anyone's tips and feedback! Many thanks.

Bethylidae
Bethylidae, I believe.

Laelius sp.?
Don or Eric, do you think the identification I got on my website is good?

I agree!
Neat find! These little wasps are parasites of ants, carpet beetle larvae (yay!!), and other household pests, so they are not uncommon indoors. Apparently, females have an excrutiating sting.

Neat find unless they like to sting you.
I get stung by these things almost weekly during the summer months, and I can tell you it burns. But that is not the bad part. The bad part is after approximately twenty-four hours, the site of the sting turns into a quarter size angry red welt that itches to no end, and it doesn't start to truly heal for another 4 days. Until then it itches on and off, badly.

The amazing thing to me is that I am the only one in my family that gets stung this often. At times, I get where I am afraid to work outdoors at all.

Bethylidae
I found this on the kitchen counter, and after I photographed it, I let it stay loose in the house. It must have been going after the Dermestid larvae, because I found a couple the day before. Thanks for the help, Donald and Eric.
