White Flannel Moth - Norape cretata

White Flannel Moth - Norape cretata
Albemarle County, Virginia, USA
Taken about two decades ago on 1000 speed film. Alas neither the date nor the food plant data have survived.

1000 speed film
The quality is excellent for such kind of film. You may even be able to ID the plant by the leaf's veins.

Thanks
Thanks, Beatriz! As for food plants, I see by the new Wagner field guide that food plants for this species include Redbud, Locust, Greenbrier, and Hackberry, and, as he notes, presumably other woody plants.
