A different bee? -
Andrena clarkella

This was in the same patch of forest floor as the other bees, but looked like it might be a different species. Or is it my imagination?

Thank you for the identifications John! Guess it was just my imagination that there was more than one bee species involved. Any clue what was going on with the
flies
that were following these Andrena around, particularly the ones conspicuously carrying pollen?
I also photographed a
wasp
of the genus Nomada in the same vicinity. I see on that
Guide page
that such wasps frequently parasitize bees in the genus Andrena...
