this one may turn out nice -- like, Pidonia aurata
i'll ask around

from Doug Yanega:
"I'm afraid not. Doesn't have the distinct apical collar of a Pidonia, and is less punctate than aurata, while more punctate than ruficollis. It's the pale form of S. abbreviata - the clincher is the medial lateral dark markings. I couldn't include every color variant in the guide, but abbreviata virtually always has darkening in that zone, 'indenting' the pale markings even on the typical color form. Peace."

followup
my initial tentative call was based on BG's only image IDed as Pidonia aurata; i asked Doug about that one -- and he said it also shows a S. abbreviata (see his comment)
