Habitat?
If oak, I'd say mournful, and those are flying now. Posture also indicates same. (Funereal generally feed upside down, particularly on deerweed.) Nice specimen!

I believe this is a Funereal Duskywing, for this individual has a pale patch on the fore wing. Mournful Duskywings lack this patch.
