Size: ~ 10 mm
This ground spider was found about 4 feet up in a fir tree. It killed the male spider from a web on the end of a fir tree branch.

Your ground spider was obviously one of our Poecilochroa (Sergiolus)
species, but the pattern is so atypical that I had to compare it with
a spectrum of specimens before concluding that it's probably montanus.

Sergiolus (assuming that that is what this is) have a really short tibia. Nice images!
