Dansoma brevicorne? - Danosoma brevicorne

Dansoma brevicorne? - Danosoma brevicorne
Just upstream on Centennial Trail, Fort George Wright Cemetery, Spokane, Spokane County, Washington, USA
June 24, 2010
Jumped on my shirt, jumped off, landed upside down. Took a picture. Righted himself in a flash. Took another couple of pictures and he was gone. Pretty nondescript, but with your website was able to find at least a possible that looked like him. Great place this is. Harry

Dansoma brevicorne
Thanks again for the confirmation. In this photo I was surprised to see any markings at all, as he seemed just a uniform gray when I first saw him.

Reminds me of our 'Big Eyed Click Beetle'...
although I know it's not. Very cool insect you have!
Agree completely about this site!

'Big Eyed Click Beetle'
It was actually the photographs here of the the Big Eyed Click Beetle that got me eventually to my try of Dansoma brevicorne. They are very similar in shape and physical appearance, save for the the 'Big Eyes'
