I tried for two bugging expeditions to get a shot of one of these. They flit just out of range in the scrub at Jacob Riis Park. I thought they were elusive until I came across a whole slew of them on several Milkweed Blooms in the early morning shade of a tree. This single one I was so proud to get a shot of was on a 'dune rose' flower...
