Did it come to a light?
I've had several males come to lights. They don't usually stick around very long, although that would probably change if a female were there too. While there they hurriedly crawl around my moth sheet, looking for a female no doubt. The adults don't seem to eat anything or live very long, so the onus is on them to find a mate and procreate ASAP.

Yes,
It did come to a light.
