Sexton Beetle - Nicrophorus sayi

Sexton Beetle - Nicrophorus sayi
Moose River Plains Wild Forest, Hamilton County, New York, USA
June 23, 2010
I believe this is a sexton beetle (Nicrophorus species), but which one? orbicollis? It was on an unpaved road in a wooded area near the carcass of a small rodent at about noon on a mostly cloudy day.

Moved

N. sayi
Not orbicollis. Markings on epipleura and curved hind tibiae.

Moved
Moved from Beetles.

orbicollis, male [curved metatibiae]

sayi ?
Doesn't the curved metatibiae make it N. sayi, not orbicollis?
