Harris's Three-Spot - Harrisimemna trisignata
Town of Plymouth, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, USA

Adult came to night light. Harris's Three-Spot took three years to finally photograph. In 1994, I found this species on our deck at night. However, a portion of one of the forewings was missing. I had to wait until 1997 to find another specimen that was of good enough quality for a photograph.

Striking
Do you place your moths on a leaf to photograph them? I've often done that with beetles. It's a nice visual change of pace from the moth sheet background.
