Black-waved Flannel Moth - Hodges#4644 - Megalopyge crispata
Moccasin Lake, Winston, Douglas County, Georgia, USA

I have photographed this species on numerous occasions before, but this one takes first prize. It wasn't the typical yellow color but had a much deeper yellow-orange coloration. The markings were quite vivid, perhaps it had just emerged. Came to a florescent light.
