Caterpillar: golden with black

Caterpillar: golden with black "horns", what might this be? - Halysidota tessellaris
Piney Woods area, Texas, USA
June 26, 2010
Size: 2.5 inches
It was fairly agile and moved at a decent speed. It would tuck it's head in if you got to within a foot or so. It obviously saw me.
