Wolf Spider and spiderlings - female

Wolf Spider and spiderlings - Female
Bear, New Castle County, Delaware, USA
June 24, 2010
Size: ~ 20 mm
I dug a hole to plant some Lavender and was moving some rocks and brushing off the debris around the edge. I didn't realize there was a spider until I touched her and she started to move. She moved away cautiously and slow enough for me to get a couple of photos.
