Bird Poop Moth - Eudryas unio

Bird Poop Moth - Eudryas unio
Broad Channel, Queens, Queens County, New York, USA
June 22, 2010
Size: ~2cm
I was so lucky to find these a second time! The first time i saw several but didn't have my camera with me. This moth does look surprisingly like a bird poop! It was hanging out on a wall under a light at the Broad Channel Station on the A line..

Moved from ID Request.

This here is a Pearly Wood-Nymph (Eudryas unio).

Cool.. Thank you!
